The Closing of World Records

Before Serato, when DJs actually had to dig for music, World Records in Alhambra was one of the stops on my "record shopping days". They would always have the newest radio joints as well as a decent house area. The staff was always super friendly and very knowledgeable. Let's not even get into their annual DJ battles; I'll save that for another time.

Thanks to Buddhabong for putting me onto this video - it was shot during their closing party, where they had one last celebration before shutting down. I don't remember why I didn't make it out that day but plenty of cameos in this vid from Buddhabong, Tropik, Source, Goose, Roldan and many more.
